WHAT I TREAT
You don't have to fit neatly into a category to deserve support
Most of the women I work with don't come in saying "I think I have postpartum anxiety." They come in saying they don't feel like themselves. That something is off. That they love their baby and are also barely keeping it together, and they feel guilty about both.
Whatever is bringing you here — it's enough.
-
Even a wanted pregnancy can feel like a slow-building dread. The "what ifs" that won't quiet down, the hypervigilance around every symptom, the sense that you're waiting for something to go wrong. We can work on that — before the baby arrives.
-
You're functioning. You're showing up. But underneath that you're tense, irritable, scanning for danger, running on fumes. This isn't just "new mom stress." It's anxiety, and it responds well to treatment.
-
Sometimes it shows up as sadness. Sometimes it's numbness, disconnection, going through the motions. Sometimes it looks a lot like anxiety on the outside. Whatever form it's taking, you don't have to wait for it to get worse before you reach out.
-
The thoughts that flash through your mind and make you wonder what kind of person you are. The checking, the mental reviewing, the exhausting effort to make sure you're safe. Intrusive thoughts are not intentions — they're a feature of anxiety, not a reflection of who you are. ERP is highly effective and I'm trained to do it well.
-
Not every birth story ends with relief. Some end with fear, confusion, a sense of violation or loss of control that lingers long after you've come home. That experience deserves to be processed, not minimized.
-
The version of motherhood you imagined and the one you're living don't always match. The identity shift is real. The relationship strain is real. The grief for who you were before is real. This is some of the most important work we can do together.
-
Not every struggle fits a perinatal label — and it doesn't have to. If you're a woman navigating anxiety or depression during this season of life, that's enough of a reason to be here.
-
The invisible load. The relationship that's fraying. The career you're trying to hold onto. The self-esteem that took a hit somewhere along the way. I work with women on all of it.
